This site is a tribute to Brian Wells (Wellsy) who was born in Emmer Green, Reading on February 04, 1950. He is a much loved dad, brother, grandad, great grandad & friend and will always be remembered.
We sadly lost our dad on 11th September 2021 to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). PSP is a neurological condition caused by the premature loss of nerve cells in certain parts of the brain. It is a rare condition, currently with no treatment. The PSP Association is a small charity who helped us have a better understanding of what was going on for dad. We know that dad would want us to do what we can to help others battling with, what Brian called this 'indescribable' illness. We would be grateful for any donations to the charity PSPA in Brian's memory. Thanks, from all of Brian's family xx
Have only just heard about Brian. A great friend from Reading in the 60s. Remembered with great love and affection.
RIP Brian. You helped me when I first arrived at AWRE to find accommodation. So saddened to hear of your passing
Remembering cousin Brian, fun times growing up at Marshlands Square and Woods Road. Love Ann xx
